Lavender Sound Bath - July 18, 6:30 PM
Escape to Lavenwood for an evening of pure tranquility and rejuvenation. This event includes a guided meditation, sound bath, and listening circle with the intention to bring us into harmony and welcome the joy of Summer. Alexandra from Mindful Wilderness will be playing singing bowls, crystal bowls and various instruments to bring us into a deeply grounded relaxation to invigorate your body, mind, and spirit.
What to Bring: a yoga mat, blanket or meditation cushion, cozy loose clothing and your intentions for the Summer season.
Alexandra is an herbalist, wilderness guide and sound practitioner. She focuses on building health through nourishment and working with local, accessible, abundant plants. Alexandra grew up learning herbalism from her grandmother and has studied under the guidance of Susun Weed since 2017. She believes that herbalism is accessible to everyone. All we need is to follow our curiosity and get our hands in the dirt, the plants teach us the rest! She is a New York State certified camping and hiking guide and a Wilderness First Responder.
Please note: The sound bath will last for about 1.5-2 hours. It will take place outdoors, and it could be hot out. On-site amenities include free drinking water, a covered area out of the sun, and an upgraded port-a-potty.
Directions: Head to Lavenwood Farms at 98 Mountain Lodge Rd, Washingtonville, NY. When you arrive, follow the signs for u-pick and park by the lavender field.
